Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026
Cookies and similar technologies are small pieces of data stored in your browser. This page explains which ones MyWaitlist.app uses and how you control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. How we handle consent
We only place non-essential cookies after you accept them in our cookie banner. Strictly necessary cookies — the ones the service can't work without — are always on and don't require consent. Page-view analytics run completely cookie-free and never identify you. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. Strictly necessary
These are required to sign you in, keep the service secure and remember your cookie choice. They run on our legitimate interest in operating the service and cannot be switched off.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie (sb-…-auth-token) | Supabase | Keeps you securely signed in to your account. | Session / up to 1 year |
| mwl-consent | MyWaitlist (local storage) | Remembers your cookie choice so we don't ask again. | Until you clear it |
| mw_theme | MyWaitlist | Remembers which app theme you picked in Settings, so the app looks the way you left it. | 1 year |
| Turnstile token | Cloudflare | Runs a bot check on sign-up and login. May set a short-lived token to complete the check. | Temporary |
3. Analytics (only with consent)
These help us understand how the site is used, in aggregate, so we can improve it. They load only if you accept. If you decline, or never choose, they are never set.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Aggregated, anonymous statistics about how the site is used, so we can improve it. | Up to 2 years |
Separately, Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without any cookies and without identifying you — so it needs no consent and sets nothing in your browser.
4. Managing your choice
You can change your mind at any time using the link in the footer of any page, which reopens the banner. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though turning off strictly necessary cookies may stop you from staying signed in.
5. Changes
We will update this page if our use of cookies changes, and revise the “last updated” date above. Questions? Email support@mywaitlist.app.
